How to Increase Your Number of Views on YouTube

17 December, 2011 (22:18) | Uncategorized | By: admin

No matter what you’re marketing on the internet, YouTube can make your job a lot simpler. It’s one of the most high traffic sites on the internet, and when you have a video there you can reach huge numbers of people for free. One you create and upload a video, however, you still have to get people to watch it, so let’s look at how we can get a large number of views to any YouTube video.

Publish Your Videos to Your Blog: It makes perfect sense to have any videos you’ve created on your own blog, as it’s another way to connect with your readers. Any blog can be enhanced by adding good quality and relevant videos to it -you can use a video as a post, on a particular page or wherever you think it best fits. You can easily embed your YouTube videos into your blog posts so that more of your readers are able to view your videos, spread them around, subscribe to your channel, etc. This will work on any blog, and if you don’t have one yet, there’s no reason why you can’t create one, as this is a good idea anyway. There are many free blogging platforms out there where you can sign up and start blogging right away. When you publish a video to your blog, you can then take advantage of social media integration and promote the post with the video to sites like Twitter, Digg, Facebook, etc.

Be Creative: If you want to get more video views, you can follow many established methods, but you can also try to be original and creative. To increase the number of views your videos get, and to show people that you’re not exactly like anyone else, it’s sometimes necessary to do things a little differently. It’s fine to use tried and true tactics to promote your videos, but by adding some newer and less familiar approaches, you can attract more attention. You might, for instance, try promoting your videos offline, perhaps by using QR Codes, where a smart phone can read the code and be taken to a page or video that you choose. There’s absolutely no limit to what you can do when you start to think differently and aren’t afraid to experiment.

Invite People to Respond: Try to make your videos interactive, as you not only want people to watch them, you want them to pass them along too. One way to do this is to entice the curiosity of your viewers and get them engaged to a certain extent, so that they are forced to comment on your video and recommend it to their friends. You can do this by asking questions in your video so that your viewers may leave their feedback in the comments section.

When it comes to lengthy triumphs with YouTube, it all comes down to how accepted your videos become and how many targeted views they can get on a recurring time-frame.
